Carrie, Cleo, Woodward, and Kevin have seen all there is to see during their three years at Lakeshore Secondary School. They begin their final year determined not to make any mistakes, and convinced that their dreams of good grades, good universities, and freedom are just around the corner. However this is the year when each of the four friends will be pushed to their limits as they struggle to make the difficult decisions that will affect the rest of their lives, and come to terms with the harsh realities of growing up.

Kevin has to decide between his father's dream of a stable career for his son, or his own dream of persuing his love for music. Woodward sets his mind on a 95% average, no matter what the expense. Cleo is determined not to live her life in accordance with the rules and expectations of others, but she soons finds out why she can't live that way forever. Carrie thinks she has everything together, but sometimes it just takes one straw to throw the world out of balance.

As the year progresses, the teenagers discover the cost of perfection, and begin to question whether they really want it anyway.

Beige is about breaking free of expectations, going after your dreams, and learning to appreciate what really matters in life. Beige is a safe, neutral colour.
